Marina District Hotels

San Francisco's Marina District is especially preferred by newcomers to the City. It's sunny, cosmopolitan and has lots of boutiques and restaurants. It's one of the City's more well-to-do areas. The Marina Green and Crissy Field both border the San Francisco Bay and offer million-dollar views of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's an area that's enormously popular with runners, joggers, bicyclist, mothers with strollers, and dog walkers. In fact, Crissy Field is an off-leash area where dogs can play and romp on the beach and in the waves. There's also a warming hut where visitors can grab a cup of coffee and read up on the area. Great restaurants abound in this area, from Judy's Homestyle Cafe that does a great breakfast to the high-end A16 Italian restaurant with its enviable wine list to Mamacita, one of the best Mexican restaurants in the City. The area is also known for its hair salons, spas and specialty workout gyms.
